VR for VISUALIZATION

Visualizations are used to present an object that is not directly accessible. However, there is always a distance between the viewer and the object in a classic, flat presentation on paper or a screen.

Virtual reality adds another dimension to the presentation and brings the viewer closer to the object. A realistic sense of space is created and it becomes possible to 'experience' the object. This creates a better understanding and a deeper connection to the object.

The aim can be to generate enthusiasm and create an impressive experience. However, VR visualization can also be used to make important information directly and unadulteratedly accessible:

  • visual axes
  • distances
  • proportions
  • accessibility

The representation can remain simple and reduced or be realistic and fully detailed.

Either way, virtual reality enables a more in-depth type of visualization.
