VR as part of the documentation

A VR model of an existing plant makes all areas accessible without restriction, at any time and from any location. Thanks to the differentiated control of visibility, individual parts or systems can be displayed in isolation, e.g. "steel construction only" or "cooling circuit only". The model also includes all underground pipes or other concealed parts. In addition, supplementary information can be integrated into the model and called up at the touch of a button, such as schematic drawings or component information. This makes the system easier to understand, especially for people who are not familiar with the location:

• Introduction of new employees
• Aids in the preparation of minor maintenance work in discussions with the contractor
• Assistance with downtime planning

Additional options:

• The model can also be viewed on screen, a VR system is not absolutely necessary.
• The model can be equipped with a conference mode to enable a joint tour from different locations.
